October, 1981 my motherss parents died 10 days apart. Her dad of cancer on Oct. 3 and her mother legally due to cancer as well, but we in the family know it was due to a brokenheart. Her mother passed on Oct. 13.

Fast forward 25 years to Oct. 13, 2006, the woman who Mom and her brother and sisters looked to as their surrogate mother passes away at 11:23pm

Mary McDuff Hightower, you were a blessed woman, strong beyond amazement to be able to raise all the kids that you did (a butt load). I love you and will miss you dearly, my Mongee.

2 PM Valentine's Concert with Ankari Holder

Ankari Holder is a 24 year old singer and composer from Uruguay who currently resides in Mexico as she finishes her Degree in Jazz Studies and teaches voice and ear training. She has sung in Uruguay, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Finland, and at the 2007 Second Life Community Convention in Chicago, USA. Ankari Holder has been active in the Second Life music scene since February 2007, bringing her personal brand of original songs and jazz and pop renditions to her performances alongside long-time collaborator David Pineda (pianist.)

3 PM Valentine's Ball with DJ Ishtar Heartsdale.

The ball setting is on Loch Lethe. Bring your Mer Friends!

Formal Attire Requested, Fancy fins for Mers, Lots of polish for the Dragon scales, and formal wear for the anthro folk.

Location: Lethe Sim, Isle of Wyrms

Both couples dances and group dances for Mer folk, Dragons, Anthro / Human, and Hatchling/Hedgie/Tiny avatar dances are available as well as refreshments on the sky deck.
